I took the plunge and joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. As I continue on this journey of improving my skills and working towards finishing my first picture book, I realize that I need to meet more people in the industry and start receiving some professional advice and critiques. I am really excited to have taken this next step! I have butterflies in my tummy now.
